I make mostly digital things. Some of it is art, some of it is not.
By day I work in the GLAM sector — currently at the State Library of NSW, building interactive and audiovisual experiences for exhibitions. The rest of the time I'm tinkering.
The through-line across all of it is affect, connectivity, and immersion. How do you feel? What connections can be made? Has your attention been focused, dispersed, altered? I've been asking these questions since my early days in sound and spatial installation, through protest documentation and environmental media, into the museums and galleries where I work now.
I build with tools rather than from scratch — decades of multimedia making means I have the technical range to realise ambitious projects and the pragmatism to get them done. I love technology. I love simplicity and elegance. I love complexity, distortion and dirt.
